During my childhood I spent a whole lot of time watching Bob Ross and drawing to entertain myself. As soon as I began painting in school, I knew it would be a lifelong passion. Throughout high school I was known as the art girl because the teachers would display my work and I strongly considered going to college for art. However, my family urged me to chose another career path so I went another direction, earning a Bachelors and Masters in Education but creating commissioned artwork here and there in my spare time. During my first years as a high school counselor in Orlando, I worked as a Paint Nite artist/host and quickly learned something about myself: I thrive on the energy of painting live at events! This discovery paved the way for Coley Sheldon Fine Art!

After working in acrylic for over 20 years, I recently fell in love with watercolor. I enjoy the effortless, airy feel and thoroughly enjoy watching and creating watercolor painting videos. My watercolor portraits can be described as true to figure yet highly flattering. They are also faceless yet totally recognizable. 

Most weekends I can be found painting at weddings throughout New England. It is an absolute dream that I am booked for so many gorgeous weddings and get to create so many stunning watercolor portraits and wedding paintings for others!
